So apparently there is an event organised in the namesake of Japan’s most popular Video streaming site; NicoNico Douga; a Youtube equivalent in Japan but better.

The NicoNico Chokaigi 2 closed it’s curtains at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba Prefecture last weekend (27th & 28th April). The event focus on bringing to life, everything that viewers of the NicoNico Douga website is interested in. And that ranges everything from Anime to Games, Music and Food. This site is also where most if not all of your favourite VOCALOID songs came from … so yes, Vocaloid.
While I obviously couldn’t be there to soak in the excitement, I found some photos online where you can see more about the event.
